Calgary-based event production company Orange Frog Productions is making waves not just with their award-winning lighting concepts, but also through their commitment to community engagement. With over 26 years of experience in theatrical and event production, Orange Frog believes that businesses thrive when their communities flourish.
This notion has been the fuel for the partnership between Orange Frog and the Library Foundation, which started in 2018 and continued last year with LIT GALA: ONCE, which is just one of many charitable activities and community events Orange Frog supported in 2024. All told, through Orange Frog’s community support and scholarships, it gave back $450,000 to the community last year.
Supporting the Library through the Lit Gala is a demonstration of their team’s commitment to fostering literacy, lifelong learning, and community connection. “We believe that community, knowledge, and creativity are the foundation of innovation,” says Orange Frog’s Sarah Vasconcelos. “Supporting the Library allows us to contribute to an institution that empowers individuals and strengthens the city we call home.” Whether it’s through financial contributions, in-kind donations, or volunteering, every effort—big or small—helps build a stronger, more vibrant community.
