How has Calgary Public Library changed your life? What is a special memory that you’ve made at the Library?

Submit your story to Calgary Public Library Foundation’s Library Story contest for a chance to win.

To be eligible, you must have an active Calgary Public Library membership. Only one submission per participant will be accepted. All entries must be received by 11:59 pm MDT on September 20, 2026.

The contest winner will be contacted the week of September 28, 2026. The winner will receive a prize and their winning Library Story will be published on Calgary Public Library Foundation’s website.

By participating, you confirm that your submission is your original work and does not infringe the rights of any third party. You grant Calgary Public Library Foundation a perpetual, royalty-free, irrevocable, non-exclusive licence to reproduce, publish, adapt, display, and otherwise use your submission, in whole or in part, for contest administration, fundraising, marketing, promotional, and other organizational communications.

Please submit your Library Story in a PDF or .docx file format using the form below. Only entries submitted through this form will be considered. Entries should be no more than 1,000 words.
