Jil's Giving Tuesday Fundraising Challenge
Change lives this holiday season through Calgary Public Library!
Hi everyone! As you know, I’m a member of Calgary Public Library Foundation’s Board of Directors, and I’ve set a fundraising goal of $5,000 to fill five shelves of children’s books for Giving Tuesday.
At Calgary Public Library, children’s books are loved to pieces…literally! They’re the most borrowed items in the entire collection, and they’re used so often that they need replacing much faster than library books for adults.
With rising prices, a shelf of new children’s books now costs more than $1,000.
For Giving Tuesday, your gift will be TRIPLED! Help me fill five book shelves by raising $5,000.
