Frequently-asked questions
Early Learning Centres are dynamic, play-based spaces that facilitate the development of fundamental learning skills for children, and can be found in Library locations throughout Calgary. The most important period of development occurs in the first five years of life, and play is the principal method by which children learn in these early years. Healthy development in early childhood sets the course for a child’s future, leading to kindergarten readiness and preparing children for lifelong learning.
