After years of violence, threats and discrimination, Boban and his partner fled Serbia in 2016 and claimed refugee protection in Canada. Upon arrival in Calgary, they were told by many people to visit the Library and make use of its services for newcomers. The warm welcome Boban received at the Calgary Public Library made him feel like he belonged in his new home. On February 23, Boban will share his heartwarming Library story. We hope you can join us!
